Where it began
A lifetime of fine sewing
Elsa has been sewing for more than fifty years. She studied under Carlota Alfaro, the renowned Puerto Rican designer, and learned to see a garment as something built carefully, layer by layer, where the inside matters as much as the outside.
She later worked with David’s Bridal, and today specializes in bridal gowns, formalwear and alterations. From simple hems to intricate gown adjustments, every piece she works on is tailored for the right fit and finished with care.
Why bridal
A wedding gown is rarely just a dress. It’s often the most meaningful thing a person will ever wear, and it usually needs some help to fit perfectly. Getting it right means the moment at the final fitting, when you see yourself in the mirror, is about the gown feeling like yours, not about what still needs fixing.
What it’s like to work with her
Clients describe Elsa as knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She’ll listen to what you want, tell you honestly what’s possible, and take care of the details so you don’t have to worry about them. If your date is close, she’ll be straightforward about what can be done. If you’re nervous about the fit, she’ll take the time to get it right.
Noctyra is the name for that work today: a small, appointment-only studio serving Wesley Chapel, New Tampa and Pebble Creek, minutes from Wiregrass Mall.
