Hems, bodices, straps, sleeves and bustles, fitted to you by hand so your gown feels as good as it looks from the first step down the aisle to the last dance.
Wedding gowns are built differently from everyday clothing, with layers of tulle and lining, boning, lace, beading and long trains. Elsa has spent decades working with exactly these garments and knows how to adjust them so they still look untouched.

Step 1: Book an appointment
Send a request below or call. Every visit is by appointment.
Step 2: Bring your gown
Bring the dress along with your shoes and the undergarments you plan to wear.
Step 3: Fitting & plan
Elsa pins the fit with you and explains the work, timeline and price.
Step 4: Alterations
Your gown is altered by hand and machine with careful attention to detail.
Step 5: Final fitting & pickup
You try it on once more, we make any last refinements, and it goes home with you.
Special occasions
Formal & Evening Dress Alterations
Bridesmaid, mother-of-the-bride, prom, gala and quinceañera dresses, adjusted with the same care as a wedding gown.
Evening and formal dresses often use delicate or slippery fabrics, linings and multiple layers. We alter them with the same attention we give bridal gowns, so the finished dress fits beautifully and still looks like it was made that way.
Final pricing is confirmed after we review the garment and the work required.

Step 1: Consultation
We meet locally to talk through your ideas, inspiration and timeline.
Step 2: Agree on the design
Together we settle the silhouette, details and fabrics.
Step 3: Deposit
A deposit reserves your project and covers materials.
Step 4: Measurements
Elsa takes a complete set of measurements.
Step 5: Pattern
A pattern is drafted to fit your body, not a standard size.
Step 6: Construction
Your gown is cut and sewn.
Step 7: Fitting
You return to try it on so we can refine the fit.
Step 8: Finishing
Final adjustments and finishing touches.
Step 9: Pickup
The remaining balance is paid before pickup.

Custom dresses follow the same steps as a custom gown, beginning with a consultation, then your measurements, a pattern made for you, and fittings along the way. Pricing depends on the design and materials and is agreed before we begin.
